FISHBONE LOCAL: CANGGU’S POSITIVE CHOICE

It’s just one of those places that make you smile. It’s close enough to the surf to walk in with your hair wet, but just classy enough to be a step up from just another fried food beer bar. The whole place, from the fresh food to the gathering tables, to the open kitchen to the backyard grassy knoll, is all set up for one thing. Good vibrations. But not the hippie type like so many others in the neighborhood. Fishbone local is about lively times at both lunch and dinner for the semi-adult in all of us. Perfect for everything from post surf chow downs to lunch meetings to romantic table-for-two dining. Here is a place where fun, romance and even a little business can co-exist in a creative, healthy environment. And the food and drinks? Dashing yet affordable. Start with a smoked cinnamon crusted Mojito, hit the black vinegar lobster dumplings starter, go for the Prawn spaghetti and finish with the Deep fried snickers. It’s all sustainable. Fishbone works with the fisherman of Singaraja just to make sure. So you can lunch and dinner guilt free. Make the place a habit, bring your visiting friends, and make sure to get Bella, the manager, to drop by the table. She can make anybody feel at home. Fishbone is a winner that Surftime highly recommends.
